Horsewoman. Instructor. Mentor.
Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. Let me introduce myself…
I’m Victoria Johnstone— the creator of The Cowgirl Way, where horsemanship meets empowerment.
I grew up in the city, always chasing any opportunity that brought me closer to the cowgirl I deeply desired to become. My journey with horses began in the show jumping world, and later carried me into barrel racing, ranch rodeos, cowhorse pens, and several years of colt starting. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology—something I once believed I’d never use, but now rely on daily in my teaching and mentoring.
Today, I help horsewomen step into their power, both in the saddle and in their everyday lives.
I’m known for my clear, intentional coaching style, my ability to read a horse (and the human beside them), and my commitment to creating safe, empowering spaces where women can grow, try new things, and become the version of themselves they’ve always felt inside.
Along the way, I discovered a few truths:
-Horses teach us who we are.
-Women rise when they feel safe and seen.
-Confidence is built with intention—not luck.
Through The Cowgirl Way, my mentorship programs, and my unique horsemanship experiences, I guide cowgirls through moments that require bravery, softness, intuition, and intention.
If you’re here, you’re not just looking for horsemanship. You’re looking for transformation. And I’m honoured to walk that journey with you.
